Bats In The Belfry Crafts is a handmade small business featuring the diverse artistic interests of Tiffany Leobell (Graphic Designer, Illustrator, Sewist, Crafter). Inspired by her love for all things Halloween, Tiffany creates unique, entirely hand-stitched plush works from felt. At the same time, she also expresses her interest in the melancholy beauty of nature through highly-detailed pen & ink drawings that are richly printed on parchment. She also designs quirky stickers, buttons, enamel pins and oddities such as her own blind boxes and spirit boards.

Tiffany’s goal for Bats In The Belfry Crafts is to offer a one-stop-shop that provides her customers with a wide selection of creep-tacular goodies so they can find the perfect way to trick-or-treat themselves or a friend.

By day, Tiffany (She/Her) works as Lead Graphic Designer for the alternative fashion brand Die With Your Boots On in Salem, MA. By night, she lurks with her spouse Joey (who without, BITBC would not be possible) in her home studio/belfry crafting handmade plush, sketching dark nature-inspired illustrations and cuddling with her two cats (Binx and Orion) and Scottie dog (Poppy).

“By providing a sense of comfort and emotional support, Plushies tap into the human desire for happiness. My wish is to offer an assortment of offbeat, ever-present friends that speak to our kindred, misfit hearts. I like to think of my creations as companions that I send out into the world who will remain at your side, or wait for you at home, ready to bring some small amount of joy to your day as you traverse life’s inevitable obstacles and hardships.

Because sometimes, we all could use a friend in the darkness.”
